Chef / Owner

Chef-owner Michael Perry is a Paris native and resident, and graduate of the culinary program at The Art Institute of Dallas.

Prior to serving as chef at the former Bois D’Arc since 2011, he led the kitchens at several restaurants and country clubs in the Canyon Lake area of central Texas. Earlier, he worked as a server and then cook at Capizzi’s in Paris, where he was inspired to pursue a career in the restaurant business.

Michael is pleased to continue bringing quality and variety to Paris area diners, in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere where the focus is the food.
